Bagel Boom! (8:33)

Seattle is in the midst of a bagel renaissance! Host Rachel Belle embarks on a delectable journey through the city’s burgeoning bagel scene. She meets with two of the region’s beloved bagel makers – Roan Hartzog of Mt. Bagel and Hey Bagel’s Andrew Rubinstein – to explore the stories behind their craft, uncovering how this iconic New York staple has taken on a distinct Pacific Northwest flair.

When Food Is Art (7:46)

Linda Miller Nicholson started adding pureed vegetables and fruits to her pasta doughs to persuade her young son to eat more healthfully. But once she started sharing her fantastical, naturally dyed rainbow pasta creations online, she gained a national following. Linda welcomes host Rachel Belle into her studio to demonstrate how she transforms flour, eggs and salt into edible works of art.

No Alcohol? No Problem. (8:31)

From Seattle’s first non-alcoholic bottle shop, Cheeky & Dry in Phinney Ridge, to thoughtful alcohol-free events, host Rachel Belle explores the vibrant and evolving culture of sobriety in the local scene. We meet the folks reshaping the way people connect and foster community – sans alcohol – and sample tasty alcohol-free beers and wines and complex spirits enhanced with natural botanicals.

Truffle Foraging With Dogs! (8:28)

Host Rachel Belle spends a day hiking through the mossy woods of Snohomish County, foraging for truffles with the folks behind Truffle Dog Company. TDC takes people on truffle-seeking adventures, and they’ll even help you train your dog to sniff them out. After finding their fill, Rachel and the gang set up an outdoor kitchen and turn their freshly foraged truffles into a delicious, pungent meal.
